Archery, board games, gaming and when I have the strength, tinkering on whatever computing projects can catch my interest.

I’ve done a bunch of things, mostly around web services of some kind. There is a more detailed CV naturally, but there’s nothing worse in the world than updating your CV, so mine is most likely out of date at this present second in time.

Working on the Cloudflare Images platform. Fullstack, some fun challenges around the scale!

April 2022 - May 2023
Worked on our internal tooling related to internal service discovery (in the human sense rather than in the microservice sense). Led a “discover and document who owns all of our services” project.

April 2014 - March 2022
Worked on… many many things, but perhaps simplified my job involved fixing our systems to be able to scale - something that wasn’t as easy as it perhaps sounds. Lots of interesting Redis stuff, performance stuff as well being the designated fixer of the stuff.

Most of my time was spent converting a Visual Basic 6 thin-client to be web browser based. A super weird project but pretty fulfilling.
